BACKGROUND

Henkan, a FourCentric company, first partnered with this leading global brewer over a decade ago to shape and embed its Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy.

This evolved into a broader FourCentric partnership, with Henkan, 4C, and Anvil Analytical combining their expertise to deliver TPM integration, operational improvement, digital enablement, and procurement cost savings. The joined-up approach removed the need for additional external providers and ensured consistent delivery across sites.

The client faced challenges in scaling and sustaining TPM globally. Deployment varied across sites, with misaligned TPM pillars and regional capability gaps. Core TPM tools and training were limited, audit processes relied on outdated systems, and no standardised onboarding existed for new sites or acquisitions. As rollout momentum slowed, there was also a need to re-energise engagement and maintain focus across the business.

SOLUTION

  • Henkan – Designed new TPM pillars, created assessment and auditor programmes, launched shop floor excellence initiatives, and delivered targeted site interventions
  • 4C – Led a UK intervention to cut maintenance spend, mapped spend data to asset level, and developed an implementation roadmap, achieving >25% savings
  • Anvil Analytical – Supported digital readiness by automating asset data, using OCR to convert manuals into structured bill of materials, and preparing for a global asset management system rollout
