The client is a leader in aerospace systems and components manufacturing with over 40 sites in 13 countries.

The company needed help to transform its manufacturing processes. The aim was to implement an asset care programme focused on achieving zero breakdowns and significantly increasing equipment uptime.

The company was experiencing persistent reliability and efficiency issues with its advanced manufacturing technologies. Frequent equipment breakdowns and deterioration posed considerable operational risks, exacerbated by the added pressures of the global pandemic, which threatened both productivity and operational continuity.

SOLUTION

Henkan’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) asset care programme implemented a modular learning approach combining structured classroom sessions with practical, hands-on training. Central to this was the use of a pilot NDT rig, allowing participants to directly apply and refine their skills.
