When starting from scratch, a full-scale contract management project can sometimes seem daunting. However, EBIT’s contract management software has a dedicated team of account managers that focus specifically on ensuring that all contracts are loaded correctly from day one.

We identify saving opportunities immediately, generate bespoke reports and alert the client to any expiring contracts well ahead of costly auto renewals. In this case we achieved a significant increase in overall contract compliance.

the Business challenge

The client wanted to implement a system to improve contract compliance and governance across the business. Moving from Excel spreadsheets to a CMS system felt like a daunting challenge so they called in EBIT.

Procure4 was selected to bring additional capacity and insight to the Indirect Procurement team in North America. Joining the group pre-Covid, but at a time of significant restructuring, we had to quickly adapt processes and ways of working to fit with a fast-moving and highly focused operation across 22 bakeries in two countries.

Our Approach

We provided monthly compliance reports, which highlighted key areas of risk to overall compliance, including unsigned contracts, new contracts, expired contracts, expiring contracts and suppliers that didn’t have a contract in place

EBIT onboarded all of the client’s current contracts and identified suppliers that didn’t currently have a current contract in place

As a result, the client’s overall contract compliance increased from 77% to 96%
